I am the Moon

I am the moon

and you are the ocean.

For I am made of dreams,

and you are made of motion.

I stare so deeply into you,

the vast unknown of the sea,

And I am met with the realization that

you are simply a reflection of me.

I reach down to touch you

and you swell to meet me.

We dance in the night sky

becoming celestial bodies.

When I am in the darkness,

you are dark with me.

When I am bathed in light,

you glitter endlessly.

Together we have the power

to change the entire earth.

Together we could teach the universe

the meaning of rebirth.
