I am hearing music how it was meant to be heard

I hear the soul in every word

The resonance of pain

It permeates every syllable

Until the metaphors take you away

You are feeling the emotions

That inspired these artists

To write these words down

Poetry doesn’t come from nothing

And that’s what musicians are poets

Poetry comes from the deepest parts of our being

So musicians are putting their souls on display

Just to entertain us

They want us

To feel what they felt

when they wrote this song

Because the best feeling is happiness

And creating makes us feel happy

So we want to share that feeling
