How Could One Ever Forget?

I saw a Queen who spent her life weaving

Into something she knew was not worth achieving

She had a kind heart, with a good thought

She was about to bring something that has never been brought

That thing was the brightest one has ever seen

She knew if they found out, she would be dethroned as the queen

.｡❅*⋆⍋*∞*｡*∞*⍋⋆*❅｡..｡❅*⋆⍋*∞*｡*∞*⍋⋆*❅｡..｡❅*⋆⍋*∞*｡*∞*⍋⋆*❅｡.

Death took the nation by storm

Falling the blame right into her hand(s)

She knew now that their welcome would never be so warm

Because her people will forever misunderstand

Why she was not ever excepted by the norm

Now they are forever yelling, “Banish her to the dry land!”

.｡❅*⋆⍋*∞*｡*∞*⍋⋆*❅｡..｡❅*⋆⍋*∞*｡*∞*⍋⋆*❅｡..｡❅*⋆⍋*∞*｡*∞*⍋⋆*❅｡.

Within her very own walls

She saw how her society started to crumble and fall

She has brought joy and happiness for so many years

Now, as far as the eye can see, all she can see is tears

She misses her place

Upon that throne

Once society sees her once humble and cheery face

Now gone completely buried in stone

They will realize that she was the start of Homebase

.｡❅*⋆⍋*∞*｡*∞*⍋⋆*❅｡..｡❅*⋆⍋*∞*｡*∞*⍋⋆*❅｡..｡❅*⋆⍋*∞*｡*∞*⍋⋆*❅｡.

Homebase... A place where everyone does not live in absolute fear

A place of equality, love, and friendship

No one ever has to shed a tear

Where no one ever has to worry about their timeslip

.｡❅*⋆⍋*∞*｡*∞*⍋⋆*❅｡..｡❅*⋆⍋*∞*｡*∞*⍋⋆*❅｡..｡❅*⋆⍋*∞*｡*∞*⍋⋆*❅｡.

The townspeople regret

She forever loved them all like they were her children

How could one ever forget

What she did to always help the cities burning passion

She rarely broke a sweat

.｡❅*⋆⍋*∞*｡*∞*⍋⋆*❅｡..｡❅*⋆⍋*∞*｡*∞*⍋⋆*❅｡..｡❅*⋆⍋*∞*｡*∞*⍋⋆*❅｡.

So how dare they ever lie

To one who would always fly

Above and beyond

To keep the cities forever iconic bond

To make sure her people never die

.｡❅*⋆⍋*∞*｡*∞*⍋⋆*❅｡..｡❅*⋆⍋*∞*｡*∞*⍋⋆*❅｡..｡❅*⋆⍋*∞*｡*∞*⍋⋆*❅｡.

Note: This poem may be slightly confusing, but this poem is generally based on all the injustices in the world and how having equality for the world is very important. Or that’s what I tried to make it about. I hope you enjoyed it!
