Hope

The light still shines, though darkness falls each night,

As dawn still breaks, dissolving shades of fright.

No tunnel stretches without an end in sight,

No winter lingers beyond the spring's new light.

So if clouds of worry start to fill your mind,

And rays of hope are difficult to find,

Remember, this too shall pass in due of time,

Just hold on fast and keep the faith aligned.

The sun still rises and sets each glistening day,

The tides still pull in and gently drift away,

Seasons still cycle through their rhythmic sway,

And hope endures as our steadfast bay.

So set your gaze upon the blazing sky,

And know the light of hope still burns on high,

Stronger than any storm that passes by,

Guiding our hearts as time flows onward by.

Have faith, have hope, stand tall and stay strong,

Even when difficulties feel they persist for long,

This too shall pass, it won't always be so wrong,

Just hold on till the hopeful dawn.

The future's bright though unsure it may seem,

With hope we'll weather whatever may gleam,

Till the new day rises and we bask in its beam,

When hope is fulfilled and we're finally redeemed.

So keep your chin up and don't lose your way,

Have hope for tomorrow and courage today.
