Here I Sit... Sit and Wait

for the untold story of our fate

Soppy hugs, amidst rains mist,

for dawned upon your foolish kiss,

with hearts of steel, and souls of hunger,

this great desire to hold you longer.

For with mumbled words against your skin,

fire blazes deep within,

a necessary moment, connection, word.

I love you, you stated, my mind it just purred.

Much like a kitten, or a car breaking down, and to no surprise, in comfort i drowned.

Into sleepless mornings in line with the sun,

bright eyed smiles, eternally young,

my god how they glisten, i swear by it my love.

For beauty is in the eye of the beholder you see,

the wonder in you blinks and the beauty it breathes.

Through a lens much older, than have i,

much wiser much bolder, i carry more pride.

and dignity on your shoulder, your heart on your sleeve,

the world has torn you down my dear,

yet you melodically see that the storms of the mind, are tamable,

you're lowering the tides.

I do not know, but here, right here

I mark my fall, into the unknown;

the unbroken, the pains and the raw of it all,

sight is one thing, acceptance another,

appreciation is truer, so i awake from my sonder

here i stand, here its true

and here i fall

steady for you,

one gaze at a time

my all, for you.
