Her Love

Lips Like Sunlight

By Sara Splendore Published 4 years ago 1 min read

Her love is like candlelight

All sultry and warm

Lost emotions stirred up

From one never scorned

Her lips curve like sunlight

Hips sway like a breeze

When she whispers your name

You fall to your knees

Her touch tastes like summer

You’ve unraveled, undone

For you, none but her

Could compare to the sun

Her eyes are your starlight

Her skin is the moon

If the world granted wishes

Then yours had come true

Her words flowed like whiskey

Each drop to be savored

She’d set no place for pain

A heart refusing to waver

Her walk was like dancing

Lighthearted and soft

Her hands were your healing

So gentle, so strong

When the world was a downpour

And had been left without song

She lifted your spirits

A love that could not be wrong
