Broken

In shadows deep, where sorrow reigns,

A heart once whole, now bears its pains.

Like shards of glass upon the floor,

Each fracture echoes, evermore.

The silence speaks of love now lost,

A bitter chill, a tempest tossed.

Through tear-stained skies, the memories weep,

In dreams, the promises we keep.

The gentle touch, now turned to dust,

In echoes of the past, we trust.

But hollow words, they pierce the soul,

And shattered dreams refuse to whole.

Oh, how the stars now seem to mourn,

As love's sweet melody is torn.

A symphony of broken chords,

In whispers of the heart's discord.

Yet in the wreckage, hope still gleams,

A flicker in the darkest streams.

For hearts may break, but they can mend,

And from the ashes, love ascends.

So let the tears cleanse every scar,

For healing waits, not distant far.

In letting go, we find release,

And from the pain, we find our peace.
