he wanted me to need him instead of being real and confident.

he wanted me to question everything instead of be deliberate and make my dreams come true.

he wanted me to burn like i am his fuel, but i am no fool, and he is lying to himself.

he wanted me to fall from the pedastal he put me on instead of rise above and stand taller than he can reach.

he wanted me to be so small that i disappear so that his insecurities will fade from view.

he wanted me to betray my values so that i lose my faith.

he wanted me to live in darkness instead of finding myself hidden in plain sight.

he wanted me forgotten, operating at a loss for his sake.

he wanted me to give myself away instead of individuated, manifesting, and abundant.

he wanted me to question myself so he doesn't have to instead of knowing my worth without him.

and i hope he gets everything he wanted; everything, but me.
