He

Their Interception

How familiar you seemed to me, that day we serendipitously met.

An interception of paths within my everyday mundanity.

I walked about my day, executing acts of habit

-yet you…. you were completely new, something I have never encountered before.

Art in dormant waiting.

For twilight had just struck upon the hour;

The last moment of light, leaking an artist’s fury and abstract thoughts upon the open horizon.

A momentary glance which lead to the extraordinary sight of you.

You stood so perfectly.

The light refracted and struck upon your hazel complexion;

you shone a source of light that I recall reminiscent memories of home and warm bellowing fires.

Your smile released innocence, and hope.

The kind that could feed and fuel lost souls who but linger misplaced amongst your path.

And here I stand, bewitched and beckoned to grasp onto such a moment with you.
