GRANDMA

Grandma is the first lady of the family,

she is a woman of love, wisdom and quality.

For knowledge and learning of things long ago,

She is the person, who will let you know.

She counsels and foretells the things I can not see,

And sometimes she is ignored, when she tries to plea.

She protects and preserves her prized possesions,

To impart to her successors at life's destination.

Grandma is like a book of reference, for all that is to be known,

about family and friends.

It can be very pleasant to be around her,

And to hear different stories of grandpa, her dear Sir.

Grandma should be loved and cherished, now that she is slow,

And will overlook many things and let them go.

She deserves great respect from all and should never be in a position to feel small.
