And Great Grandchildren

My daughter called this morning and woke me up, what a louse

She said, "Paxton thought I forgot to take him to your house!

He was crying and saying how now he has to go to school

and he said that was just not cool

I told him it was a long weekend and he would get his turn today

as Logan was only meant to stay Friday and a part of Saturday"

I was feeling bad as we could have taken both at the same time.

We didn't want to hear them whine

as what we do with one isn't always the same for the other.

they get individual time with the grandparents

and that is the best, just like when they get that with the parents

as they have so many sisters and brother

They come from a family with the olders, the middles and the littles

Middles and littles sometimes work but not with vittles

They all go for DQ, and movies, just not the same thing or same one

It's a 7 dollar meal for the middles

and a kids meal for the littles

with both coming with an ice cream sundae

doesn't matter the day

The littles would want the big red dog

And the middles would want ghost busters or a scary story of a critter that looks like a big old frog

They all like to ride the 4 wheelers, the go cart and snowmobile and have learned where to keep their legs

they take rides on the motorcycle when they reach the pegs

Fun times with the middles and the littles and memories of the olders

We like to have those memories and make new ones as we become much older with sore shoulders.

There was a picture posted on Facebook this morning of the latest greatgrand

and man does he look like his grandpa John, except he has more hair

but his mother, an artist drew him with a banana and a tail, like his grandpa John, is that fair?

to make that baby grand

look exactly like his grandpa John

No, I don't think so, and I will tell her so then baby and I will yawn

and get some rest as hanging with the best

can make you tired

and you know, I am retired!
