Georgia Peach

a poem dedicated to my feline best friend

In a quiet corner of the town,

Lived a feline who wore a crown,

Her name was Georgia Peach, oh so sweet,

A sight that was impossible to beat.

She would wander through the streets,

With her fur as soft as summer's breeze,

Her eyes, a shade of amber gold,

Were a sight to behold.

She ruled the neighborhood with grace,

Her presence could light up the darkest place,

With her purrs, she could soothe any soul,

Her presence made us all feel whole.

Georgia Peach was quite a sight,

As she bathed herself in the sunlight,

With her tail high and head held high,

She'd gaze at us with a mischievous eye.

And when the day would come to an end,

Georgia Peach would snuggle with her friend,

A reminder that amidst the chaos and strife,

There's nothing like a feline's love in life.
