From Yorkshire with Love
Tribute to our carers during these troubling times
In times of good, in times of ease, our carers pain we do not see.
In times like these, in times of fear, our carers exhaustion is all too clear.
But on they go for they must, and in them, we have total trust.
For heroes they are they heed the call, even when they see colleagues fall.
And for their strength, and for their heart, the rest of us get given a new start.
We cheer on Thursdays, and that's nice, but never, never forget their sacrifice.
