From the Greek Bards

Dear Future Generations,

I'll sing to you

Of a tale fantastic, from a page so true,

Of a person, who met the gods!

And walked with them, on hallowed sods.

For in this world, so full of myth,

There are stories, that we must not dismiss,

Of gods and heroes, who walked the Earth!

And changed the world, with their great worth.

This person, plain and normal, walked one day,

And met the gods, on a path of clay...

They stood before him, tall and proud!

And spoke to him, in voices, loud.

They told him tales, of ancient time,

And showed him in wonders, that were sublime,

They taught him secrets, of the Earth,

And showed him wonders, of great worth.

Our mundane human, walked with them,

And learned their ways, and ancient hymns,

He saw their power, and felt their might!

And knew that they, were always right!

And though the gods, have long since gone,

Their tales live on, in ancient song,

And we can learn, from their great deeds...

And find new ways, to meet our needs.

So let us walk, with an open heart,

And learn the ways, that set us apart!
