From Soup To Nuts

Hot Soup

A fine, hot soup will

soothe the body and the soul.

Or so I’ve been told.

A Vote For Hope

It’s important to

vote if you want to have hope

you’ll get what you want.

Talented

Everywhere you look

there are talented people.

However, some people don’t

know what talents they possess.

Victories

Victories can come

in all kinds of shapes,

sizes, and forms, so seize them

when/if they present themselves.

Growth

Have you taken stock

of how many ways you can

grow? There are myriad ways

you can, so just get to it.

Mothers

Without our mothers

we wouldn’t exist. Not just

our birth, but from them came the

foundation of our whole lives.

Ducks

Ducks are fun to watch.

They waddle along

without a care in the world.

But don’t mess with their youngsters!

Fragile

While the Earth is strong,

it’s also fragile in so

many ways. We’re its

protectors of first and last

resort, so must stay on guard.

Dare

Do you dare to dare

yourself to stretch beyond your

comfort zone and try

new things? Do you dare to try

to expand your horizons?

Rock and Hard Place

If you find yourself

between the proverbial

rock and a hard place,

stand on top of the rock and

then leap over the hard place.

Hope

Where there’s smoke, there’s fire.

Where there’s fire, there’s light.

Where there’s light, there’s hope.

Life Can

Life can get you down.

Can be so dreary.

Can make you weary.

Life can pick you up.

Can make you feel great.

Can enrich your fate.

Life can be what you

choose it to be.

Condemned

He gazed out at the

crowd gathered to watch him die

for crimes so heinous

that they were unspeakable.

Condemned to die, but just once.

Time To Shine

The time has now come.

Your time to step into the

spotlight and start to

shine. Don’t dare miss this chance to

bask in the glow of success.

Why, Donald?

Donald, why do you

say mean things to hurt people?

“Melania, that’s

not true; you’re an idiot.”

Again, Donald. Why?

Nuts

They say even a

blind squirrel can find a nut

sometimes, but who is going

to keep other squirrels from

stealing all his nuts from him?
