From Athena to Zeus
An Abecedarian Alexandrine
Athena, Goddess of Wisdom and my passion;
Beseeching You to step in as soon as You can.
Covered with disgust, I also appear ashen;
Disguised as an ordinary and dying man.
Elephants abound in seemingly countless rooms;
Feigning knowledge when their mean ignorance doth rule.
Greater individuals edified in fumes;
Hell hath no fury like an awaking Woke fool.
I am M to those who know my love for Anthi;
Joining her within where she lives beautifully.
Kronos¹ awaits us to slide across its blue rings;
Leaning on each other as we play them like strings.
Mantinades² we recited and then composed;
Never forgetting what dear Athena proposed.
Open your mind, my children, and remember Zeus,
Perchance He awakes as well and turns all good loose.
Quiet on the Moon and even Ares³, O Musk!
Remind us why far away, life would be better!
Scarlet is an awful colour to the letter;
Tantalisingly fake with dust from dawn to dusk.
Undressed by time and space, some of us feel stronger;
Visualising the end as a beginning
Where constructs are alien and truths are thinning;
Xylomancing without wood for something longer.
Yesterdays regress towards our future AI;
Zeus prefers to slumber and observe from a high.
