Fresh heaven stuck in a private hell

The tempestuous younger sister, had a penchant for true crime

she lingered over sordid details of past gruesome murder

But found them

So boring.

She found a rat to serve her older sister as stew

a drink of sewer, a toast will do

‘Why did she shimmer brighter than I?

I

Was

The

Real

Star.’

Her brain hit heavy clankings of the painful sea, so dark, so cold, so dreadful

It left a scar of misery deep in her raw and twisted heart, so devastating it killed her fear

it killed her fear,

Now she had nothing to lose:

she served her sister a dead parakeet

Her pet, her last love, her special treat

she purged out her guts as her heart stopped

The three agonizing seconds before her soul left her earthly framework

She lifted the ceramic bowl, the bowl she had asked her sister to refill with cool water every night

And it spilled over her face, live with worms and crawdads

Warm, gooey, terrifying

But with her last frightening breath, she left her eyes open in an accusatory stare

Her mouth twisted in a evil glare, a smile so defiant

The youngest screamed in a faint,

A true horror story

A pixie spirit with engorged cheeks

Sang them

Both into a etheral promise of heaven,

As they faded into red, red, pink

The faded hell that drank in their fears like honey to a bee

One eyes open to the truth

Another closed in agony.
