poetry about nature

Windswept mountains

Rolling across the land,

Valleys in shadows

Hiding from the sun,

The river winding

Cutting a path of its own,

I watch the waves of grass

Dancing in the breeze,

And dream of days gone by

Where nothing but nature,

Touched the land

And I am free to be.
