Forgotten

Love

By Bree DunnPublished 7 years ago 1 min read

Why am I still so sad

When I see your face at night

My heart sinks instead of soars

When you are in my sight

Things that gave me butterflies

Now feel like rocks in my throat

Things that gave me energy

Now hang me from a rope

My body is tired

My mind is hopeless

I had forgotten the scars

You forced me to forfeit

But I love you so

Thanks for the bullshit
