Run

Hide

Silence

your feelings

Quiet

your mind

Suppress

your attraction

Heighten

your distractions

Stuff

your face

Replace

your disgrace

Stretch

your face to a smile

Chase the dragon

to the next high

Stay

preoccupied

Do what you must

just to get by

But getting by

just isn't doing it

Nothing feels the same

since we parted ways

Nothing feels the same

since that awful day

And it never will

until you learn

forgiveness

& make amends

with what you wasted

You can try to replace me

but I haven't met a soul

who's been successful

You can try to forget me

but I've been told

I'm unforgettable
