We are just never enough

Within the depths of the night, where greed reigns supreme, Lies the tale of men enduring a life of pain and dreams.

As kids, we're taught to be tough, to never show our tears,
To hide the scars of our struggles, buried deep within our fears.

With every scrape and bruise, we're told to walk it off,
For pain is just a part of life, a lesson hard to scoff.

Beneath the bravado, lies a heart that longs to cry,
To release the pent-up anguish, and let the tears fly high.

Yet society demands our silence, and emotions kept in check,
For we are meant to be stoic, never showing a speck.

Through the trials of adolescence, they navigate the storm,
Struggling to find our place, to weather and conform.

With every judgment passed, we're weighed down by the load,
Carrying the burden of expectations, on a perilous road.

From the playground taunts to the pressures of success,
We fight against the tide, striving to impress.

But no matter how hard we try, we're never good enough,Bound by society's standards, feeling oh so rough.

As we step into adulthood, the weight only grows,
Bearing the scars of our past, where pain eternally flows.

Navigating through relationships, we stumble and we fall,
Trying to find love's embrace, amidst the shattered wall.

Love can be a battlefield, where hearts are torn apart,
Leaving us broken and bruised, with wounds upon our hearts.

We search for solace in the arms of another,
Only to find ourselves drowning, in the depths of our lover.

And as we face the challenges, of work and of life,
We're met with obstacles, cutting like a knife.

The pressure to provide, to be the breadwinner strong,
Leaves us feeling inadequate, in a world that feels so wrong.

But still, we soldier on, despite the pain we endure,
For we know no other way, our resilience pure.

Though the road may be rocky, and the path may be long,
We carry on with courage, our spirit ever strong.

So here's to the men, who brave the storm each day,
Facing pain and persecution, in every single way.

May we find strength in our struggles, and solace in our pain,
For our journey is a testament, to the human spirit's reign.
