Flowers in Winter
For all the things I cannot say

There are so many things
I cannot say
So I'll give you flowers instead.
I'll hand you purple Aconite
I don't have fangs
Or poison
To make you feel the hurt you've caused
So I'll give you Monkshood instead
Next I'll hand you Buttercups
For your actions
Which reek of childishness
I'll add some Yellow Carnations
For disdain is the least
of my feelings for you now
Orange Lily and Petunias
For the hatred
and resentment
that now drip from me
as I think of you.
I liked you when we met
You made my friend so happy
But now she's hurting
And I'll never be able to say
How much I hate you for that
So I'll hand you flowers instead.
