Abstract Poetry is a form of poetry that is more about how sounds, rhythms, and textures evoke emotions than about the actual meanings of words. Writers Digest, Robert Lee Brewer

I was thinking abstract or sound, then I may have moved into nonsense?

fishing and dishing

I was wishing

to know who was fishing

next to me and kissing

I was sure missing

the kissing and dissing

going on next door

I abhor poor, poor

me, I’m looking for shore

it is such a bore

why should I stay for more

~

my husband chews snuff

boy it is rough

no kisses for me I say enough

the nicotine is too much

and whatever else is in that stuff

enough is enough I say

and what about you today

enough for anything on this day?

how about enough of this stuff hey!

Okay then, have a good Wednesday!

~

Tick tack toe

I’m going out to hoe

My garden has a few weeds

time to plant a few more seeds

in the river today we will find reeds

who needs

reeds

clarinet players

then there are others!

~

fiddledee, faddledee, doe

yes, I can throw the dough

well, maybe not the cash

I can put on a sash

and the cash I will stash

well, I don’t really know

confusion is my game, no?

time to sow, blow a kiss and go!

Very good job on the rhyming throughout the poem. It was fun to read.

  • Your talent is very uncommon and a realistic one! "boy it is rough no kisses for me I say enough" haha, loved that line.
