First Lady Poetic Challenge

Using photogenic paint

Sending a welcome message endorsed by a Saint

About facing adversity training

No complaining

When a model in over her head

Feeling desperate and dead

Crippled survival was real

How did she feel?

In this art of the deal

Was what one seemed to ask

Taking off the reality mask

Interpreting the rural postcard

Found alone thirsty at the bar

Wanting a hand

And rescuing from a jam

Tonight

First Lady will take flight

With her experienced knight

Commanding spreading her wings

Eye catching Bucks County financial Queen and Kings

It is Barney’s son who occupies the pilot’s seat

Winning would be ever so sweet

To the mount

Countess who wants no faults to count

Strategically pulling on the communication reign

During the Dixon Oval campaign

Quarterbacking the ride

With semi pro gridiron pride

Will be sighed

If everything doesn’t go well

Leaving no story to tell

Returning from the coupling

Where Saudi Arabia is bubbling

Having a royal pair

Hearts and diamonds cards they do share

American First Lady was there

Witnessing the romantic affair

Filled with peaceful love

Respected by the hawk and the dove

Formerly allowed

And vowed

Together

Forever

Braving all challenging weather

Three scenes

Tabloids waiting for a panic-stricken scream

Presented like a dream

Spinning a yarn

Conversational gossip throughout the barn

Andrew Wyeth mass marketed print

Gave the gallery patron the hint

New Hope is reaching for heaven

And the big gulp refill is at seven eleven
