Sunshine on a dark cloudy day,
Wisps of happiness adorn the very air
In which she inhales,
Daydreams star in her eyes,
A single meeting of the heart so rare.

Dreaming of the potential possibilities,
As her heart skips a beat or two,
Joy eclipses the rising sun,
As she remembers the glorious night,
When his aura surrounded her through and through.

The whispered gasps of ecstasy,
As the song of his voice pierced her ears,
Harmonies floating between his words,
Meant for her, heard by no others,
As her hazy thought clears.
***
Like smoke on the waters,
His eyes capture the beauty of her dreams,
Reeling across her face in blatant honesty,
Star struck by the intensity between the pair,
Captured perfectly it seems.
***
Winters have been long,
As they both patiently waited,
Single in their solitude,
Breath held,
Twins within their agony frustrated.
***
Standing solo within their future plans,
Until that gaze they cast upon the other,
Knowing destiny has intertwined,
Working its magic,
Cruising their negativity to smother.
***
Their silent promises are now broken,
The chains upon their hearts now shattered,
The undeniable connection hard hit,
At just a single glance,
The rest of the world no longer mattered.
***
A shy smile graces her plump red lips,
A downward cast of her shining eyes,
He smiles inwardly knowing she is now his,
As he crosses the room to stand by her side,
She quickly glances up and heaves heavenly sighs.
***
Her heart skips another beat,
At the touch of his fingers upon her chin,
She raises her head to adventure into his gaze,
Testing the waters to ascertain
If she should allow her love for him to begin.
***
He laughs at her thoughts,
Really she has no choice,
Fate has stepped in and taken the reins of their love,
They belong to one another now,
As romance has finally found its voice.
***
A chance meeting,
Many would argue not,
A relationship of certainty,
One destined from the fateful day of birth,
A day cupids arrow was surely shot.
***
The future is theirs,
To guard at will,
No longer solo but two hearts forever entwined,
Serendipity at play,
As the vessel of their love does overfill.
***
Fingers knotted in future years,
Unlimited possibilities theirs to hold,
Paradise theirs to mould,
Into a strength, a blossom of love,
A famous promise untold!
