In the quiet hours, when shadows roam,
A heavy heart, far from home.
Lost in memories, lost in pain,
Longing for a touch, longing in vain.
Echoes of laughter, now distant cries,
Tears that fall from weary eyes.
A void that lingers, an ache so deep,
In the lonely hours, it's hard to sleep.
Each passing moment, a silent plea,
To hold you close, to set you free.
But time slips by, and you're not here,
Just memories left, to hold dear.
A love once cherished, now torn apart,
Leaving behind a shattered heart.
In the echoes of your absence, I roam,
Forever lost, without you, home.
