Faces

“People have two faces; just like a rose.

“The sun is glorious; but staring too long can be blinding”

“Beauty can be blinding”

In life the rose is one of the most beautiful creations,

Much like woman.

However everything has two sides; two faces,

Trust does not exist; we rely on a false truth,

Beauty or deceit,

The rose with its beautiful pedals; fragrant scent,

All too alluring until…..Prick!

You touch a thorn hidden behind the beauty,

Much like a woman.

We all have two faces; hide behind a mask,

Beauty c an blind you of all a woman’s faults,

As obvious as they may be,

Just like the rose; much like the largest illusion of all; Love

We all have our faults, nobody is perfect,

The rose, woman, love; can seem pure and everlasting at first,

The illusion then dissolves; we are then left in pain; the thorn, woman’s faults, heartache,

Waste life away – live it,

Get beauty or pain,

There is no choice in the matter…

Choose to live life or waste it; I choose a beautiful death!
