Extraterrestrial

Hello stranger,

you are in no danger,

although I have never seen you here,

you look queer, and seem to be full of fear,

take me as your friend, and hold my hand,

as I take you on an excursion on this strange land,

Welcome to Earth,

where there is no dearth,

of mysteries, and inquiries,

and claims about your appearance,

and sudden disappearance,

a bundle of papers calling you "aliens",

written by a bunch of homosapiens,

who have taken a pledge, and think it's fetch,

to frame you as hideous in their sketch,

but your form is nothing like their imagination,

making one blush so they forget their destination,

humbling people for their fabled spectation,

forcing humans to go back and get an education,

so they learn to give aliens a fair representation,

but beware of going to school,

the system is broken, and not cool,

students are taught, but they do not learn,

the homework is burdening, and teachers are stern,

and could care less about whether you are intrigued,

but penalized when fatigue

overtakes your ability to contribute to society,

that is when you should watch movies,

a form of entertainment, to lighten up the mood,

accompanied by laughter, drama, and lots of food,

like pizza, poutine, or popcorn,

and no longer feel forlorn,

as we watch Extraterrestrial,

a movie about a being celestial,

who lands on earth, and meets a friend,

who helps him get back when he hits a dead end,

just like you and I,

who met despite the broken bridges between the land and the sky,

I must now ask you to return , and not stay,

do not delay , not for another day,

for if politicians find out you are real,

they will use you as their next meal-

ticket for money and power,

I forgot to tell you, humans have greed,

we are capable of harming all when in need,

so this meeting will be a secret ,

and nobody will ever know that you exist,

you are a myth, and that I will insist!
