The sea
it is a child that never grows old
Eternally young
its stories yet untold
It delights in the games
that children play
Inviting them to frolic
to leap, and to sway
With waves that crash
and currents that churn
The sea is a playmate
always yearning to learn
It splashes and dances
a mischievous delight
Beckoning the young
to join in its endless plight
Like a child
the sea knows no bounds
Roaming freely
its playgrounds abound
From the sandy shores
to the deepest blue
Its boundless energy
it forever renews
It teases and taunts
a naughty little sprite
Luring the children
to join in its endless flight
They chase the foaming waves
their laughter ringing clear
As the sea, in its glee
whispers secrets in their ear
/
The sea
it is a companion, a friend so true
Ever-changing, ever-playful
in ways both old and new
It beckons the young
to cast off their cares
To dive headlong
into its aquatic airs
In the tidal pools
the sea hides its treasures
Inviting the children
to uncover its pleasures
They peer in wonder
their eyes alight with glee
As the sea reveals
its watery mystery
When the storm clouds gather
the sea grows bold
Tossing the waves
a tempest to behold
Yet even in its fury
a childlike glee persists
As it dances with the wind
never ceasing to exist
/
The sea
it is a child that knows no fear
Reveling in the unknown
year after year
It teaches the young
to embrace life's grand plan
To let go of their worries
and simply be, as only a child can
In the ebb and flow of the tides
a rhythm is found
A timeless symphony
with never a dull sound
The sea, it keeps the children
enthralled and enchanted
A magical companion
forever undaunted
As the years pass
and the children grow tall
The sea remains a child
ever-present, for one and all
Its playful spirit, a beacon in the wild
Reminding us
to cherish the child within, undefiled
For in the sea's eternal youthfulness
we find solace and joy
A reminder to embrace life's wonder
without fear to destroy
It is a teacher, a mentor
a friend so true
Inviting us to dive in
and let our spirits renew
Let us heed the call of the sea
this eternal child
Join in its games
carefree and undefiled
For in its watery embrace
we find the key to unlock
The wonder and joy
that time can never block
/
The sea
it is a child that will never grow old
Its stories, its secrets
forever untold
Let us bask in its playful
mischievous grace
Discover the child within
in this endless aquatic space

Power, and love the Frolics at the foam!
Beautiful reconciling of two profound sentiments--the sea and the child--both youthful and powerful. The child frolics at the foam, the very beginning of the vast sea that is, while the child him/herself is the beginning of the person. Loved it.
Nature of the sea expressed in a poetic way. Great talent in you. I enjoyed reading it.
Fascinating poem. I liked it
Nice story
