Erik’s ode

Life

By Gregory AndersonPublished 3 years ago 1 min read

Trials have come and put us to the test

Looking down I see the broken body at rest

Flow through me from heaven above all that I ever learned of love

We are broken and there is a cost

Faith cries for those broken and lost

We fight to claim our place on the earth

Never truly knowing the value of time and it’s worth

Learning to live far beyond just our need

Faith Free’s the soul that cries to be free

Waiting for the open door while trying to score

Sent from up above was a mothers love

Reminding us that everything good comes from love

No more days but remember faith still prays

For we are blessed all of our days
