Enough Earth! Enough!

O', people of India,

with your unshakeable faith and grit,

which  -  though singed

by your millions

of shattered souls, who now fly

without having requested wings  - 

still endure against micro-drops

of airborne death.

Thank you, people, of India,

for your relentless army of savior Sikhs,

who with their hands of thin air grapple 

the invisible

the unfathomable,

entreating Waheguru,

near believing Siva,

weeping wherefores of sweat

and singed hair

amid cacophony wails

of children;

of women;

of men.

Forgive us, O' Planet

for we have sinned,

and continue to sin

else we would be spared the carnage;

help us understand,

but I beg of thee

clemency - 

enough, Earth!

Enough!
