The enemy is me
I know not what I see
So I can not perceive
What lies beyond the trees
Forests of darkness now foreshadow my view
Lost searching for answers but all I find is you
Choked by despair I can not call your name
Destined to watch you go while I bow my head in shame
Dangling from the strings of discord
Hanging from the tree of despair
All hope fades from my eyes
As my soul greets the air
Sorry for the word count, just tryna make my words count
Tryna make the words bounce, but messed up on the dismount
