He came to her of his own free will - knowing that he was to claim
what was his -
Her...
He touched her face -
she felt the warmth in the softness of his fingers -
She felt him...
He held her close, saying nothing - just wanting to feel the warmth of her
next to him, oh so close
He shuddered as he felt her electricity...
He held on to her as she clung to him -
their LOVE was electric...
it causes fires that can't be put out!
He delighted in their love, the passion that was between them -
Never like before...
He thought he'd lost her -
no, she was here...
She stayed
He hung on to every "I love you"
she sweetly whispered to him as she melted into him...becoming him
She saved a drowning man...he came up for air -
gasping...breathing her in
He held on for dear life not wanting this to end.
She fed his mind, soul, body and spirit - talking to him all at once
covering him with her love
He held on knowing this gift was to be cherished
His love for her was
Endless...

I started writing when I was 14, what started as keeping a diary turned into writing what I was feeling into poetry. I've wrote for the National Library of Poetry, my first public outing, which encouraged me to write.
