Emotional Points of No Return

Slow. Your. Roll.

Remaining objective

once easy—until it wasn’t.

Your choice, of course, your choice

but consequences are an effect cascade

of glacial icebergs in acceleration melt

that wreak havoc on my emotions.

Sea-levels with unstoppable rise

that would beat the crap out of any scientist

who gets too close

for measurements

samples

pH indicators my ass.

Research repositories be damned

as water walls

outrage squalls,

absorbs sound and holds it captive.

Conciliatory space?

You’ve lost your effin mind.

Mama said God protects babies and fools.

You got nuthin’

but me

all over sensory receptors firing

watery mediums,

dangerous physics,

and exhausted communications next up

while hydrostatic pressure

ends the rest.

Healthy boundaries transcend species

mind…

matter…

my ‘reached in ripped out’ heart,

tolerance that teetered on patience

and fell.

Now

existence warrants careful tread.

Decreed

or this ‘us entity’ is dead.

    Very powerful

  • And the powers that be rarely care as they believe they can protect themselves, while the proletariat does not want to be bothered so long as most are kept comfortable & allowed to blame someone else.
