A chill runs up my spine

As your fingers reach out for mine

I still get a tingle when I feel your touch

I long for your presence so much

Four decades and our live remains

I’m sure by now that will not change

Your voice in the phone is still so thrillIng

Watching you walk is so fulfilling

Each time is like the first so sweet

I love listening to your heart beat

You’ve touched my mind my soul my heart

Only death can ever keep us apart

I smile each time I see your face

And you reach out so we can embrace
