I don’t need to get it done today.

For now, I want to lie down and rest.

I was feeling burnt out, anyways.

//

It’s not even due until Friday.

There’s no need to start feeling distressed.

There’s no need to get it done today.

//

It’s Wednesday, a time of disarray,

So I don’t think I can do my best.

There’s Thursday and Friday, anyways.

//

It’s due tomorrow. I have one day.

I’ll do it when I’m not feeling stressed.

It’s due tomorrow, not today.

//

It’s not due till midnight today.

But this doesn’t pique my interest.

I’ve still got more time, anyways.

//

I wish I could make it go away.

Now I’m all out of time to invest.

It’s eleven fifty-nine today.

It wasn’t worth the effort, anyways.
