In the city of lost souls, I wander alone

In the city of lost souls, I wander alone

Through streets that echo with the whispers of the unknown

The wind whispers secrets in my ear

Of life's who have gone, and memories that appear

The buildings seem to loom, like sentinels of pain

Guarding the secrets of the place, and the sufferings that remain

I search for solace in each empty face

But find only shadows, and an endless space

In this city of lost souls, I'm just a ghost

A fleeting thought, a whispered name, a forgotten boast

I roam these streets, searching for a home

But every door I open leads to emptiness and stone
