Can't We All Just Get Along

The art of disagreement

Such a useless practiced art

It’s more difficult to get along

Fighting doesn’t make you smart

A challenge would be peace

It takes less brains to feud

So wouldn’t it be better

If we all tried to put each other

In a good mood

Now I’m not saying we all will agree

But do we really need to fight

I’m not changing my view

And you think you are always right

But does that have to affect a dinner

Or a conversation in the sun

Can’t we talk about the things we have in common

Do we always have to come undone?

It’s like everywhere you walk

There’s two people that disagree

It makes you not want to leave the house

It’s not something you want to hear or see

So, who is going to make the effort?

Who is going to put their ego at the door?

Life’s too short for all this baloney

There’s no reason to waste time anymore
