Eclipsing into evanescence

Clips ending in less than varec,

Lips exhausted, with odor fec’l,

Ipse dixit memet ec-li

Pseudo,

Stinking.

Eclipsed.

( )

Varec—seaweed; the calcined ashes of coarse seaweeds used for the manufacture of iodine, potash, and formerly soda

Ipse dixit—(Latin for “he said it himself) an assertion without proof.

Memet—(Latin) myself.

Ec-: a variant of ex- before a consonant, meaning out of, away from, or eccentric.

Li—(neo-Confucian Chinese philosophy) refers to the underlying reason and order of nature as reflected in its organic forms (Li (neo-Confucianism) - Wikipedia)

Oh, why does this feel so self-hating, Randy? So sad, too? (This bit, in particular: "Ipse dixit memet ec-li," if I'm interpreting it correctly to be along the lines of, "He said it himself, myself outside of nature's/the natural order"). I hope you are well, my friend. I find your verses here to be quite incredibly erudite and deeply-set. I admire your mind.

Rather well done, sir. Ipse dixit? Doubtful...

So Ipse dixit memet ec-li essentially means "he said it without reason or justification? I get an education just reading your work. Exceptionally imagined and executed poem, Randy!
