Echoes of a Fading Love

A Tale of Unyielding Hearts and Lost Promises

You once told me one thing

They used to promise and promise a lot

You cried and cried a lot

The end of that was an evening

You once told me one thing

Even if it's difficult, we'll overcome it together

They used to promise and promise a lot

Only you and me

You cried and cried a lot

The day you said we were separated

The end of that was an evening

We lost our way through the crowd

We met! Please don't let this matter get lost quickly

That beautiful flower doesn't need magic

Natural affection that comes without the need to be patched

Loving you is a necessity

Only as long as we still breathe, we still have love

And all that we hope for

Is the smile of someone that helps ease all fatigue

Still loving, but why is it that the heart

Doesn't love anyone else anymore

And it's only you, one person

Who has left me behind

When the wound in my heart becomes heavier

I no longer believe in

Love that's dim, faith that's dying

Don't need anyone to step in

Only in those drunken moments do we become weak and soft

Then crying, thinking that love will always be calm

You will always be just a passing love to me

Someone else to talk to at night
