Don't Worry, I've Got You

You are never too much for the hearts that can hold you.

There are hearts that are strong enough to lift you, that host spirits within them that reflect your own inner glow, and can fuel the fires inside of you when your own spark will not ignite. There will be eyes that will notice when you have fallen and cannot rise, and there will be arms outstretched to lend you their helping hands. You are light as a feather even though you may believe that you are too weighted down by the troubles that plague your life.

Someone’s arms will grasp you when life becomes too overwhelming, and will keep your feet firmly planted on the ground, making sure you don’t float away or slowly fade into oblivion. Someone will have ears that will hear your soundless cries, and fingers that will interlace with yours, squeezing softly as if to say, don’t worry, I’ve got you.

Their hands will softly cradle your heart with the utmost care and their trust & faith in you will never leave you reaching for empty promises again. They will make their presence in your life clearly and proudly known, and it will be thrilling and calming all at once; they will evoke the emotions associated with home, with a haven, with a secret hiding place that is all yours.

They will relish any opportunity to experience you in all of your glory, in all of your depth, and in all of your darkness. You will feel every color of the rainbow and deeply know that you recognize this as true love. Because you are it and they are you.

You sure as hell can expect this to appear in your lifetime...

Because you are true and you are love and you are you, and you are never too much for the hearts that want to hold you.
