Don't judge a person by their face

For beauty is more than a physical place

A rough exterior, a gentle soul

Can hide a heart that's whole

A worn-out smile, a weary eye

Can hide a story, and a heart that's fly

A quiet voice, a gentle pace

Can hold a wisdom, and a gentle grace

Don't judge a person by their look

For inner beauty, is what they took

From life's experiences, from trials and strife

And the depth of their character, is what gives them life

A scarred face, a fragile frame

Can hide a strength, and a courageous claim

To overcoming obstacles, to rising above

To finding the beauty, in the darkest of life

A quiet mind, a thoughtful heart

Can hold a wisdom, that sets them apart

From the noise of the world, from the din and the fray

They find their peace, in their own quiet way

Don't judge a person by their past

For it's the present, that will forever last

The choices they make, the path they choose to take

Will shape their future, and the story they'll make

So look beyond the surface, and see

The beauty that lies within humanity

For it's the imperfections, that make us whole

It's the quirks and flaws, that make us soulful

It's the laughter and tears, the joys and the fears

The triumphs and failures, through all the passing years

It's the love and the loss, the wins and the defeats

That shape our characters, and make us who we meet

So don't judge a person by their outside appearance

For it's what's inside, that truly matters in essence

It's the heart and soul, that beats within their chest

That shows us who they are, and what they're blessed with.
