Do You Feel the Call to Be You? Fully? Wholeheartedly?

Let’s do this. Let’s be us.

This poem is for you if you’ve ever felt silenced or have pleased others above yourself. The purpose is to encourage us to be ourselves fully.

Maybe you read the following words in a different way though? Let me know below.

_____________________

I want to be free

I want to be free

free to be me

To drop all the reticence

and simply be me

▫️

Do you feel the call

the call to be you?

To drop all the masks worn and simply be you?

▫️

To speak truths out (with firm kindness)

To make choices that suit you

▫️

Let’s do this

Let’s be us

We are free to be now

I'm a pathological people pleaser but now I'm trying hard to set boundaries and put myself first. Loved your poem so much!
