There's this thing

underneath her skin,

waiting like a coiled spring -

explosive like a firing pin

Increasing in rage,

ramping up in pressure,

cracking through her ribcage -

a torrential zephyr

Don't misplace her smile

for a calm, demure facade;

hidden in the lines is an active hostile

one that should be taken to a firing squad

A beast of passion and desire

forced to hide

to survive the wildfire -

temptation like a flood tide

So, try to be discerning -

one move, and she's on a killing spree;

you will only get one warning:

Author's Note:

Anyone else get that feeling of wanting to explode when your having a particularly rough day? ( or week, or month cause let's admit we all have those ) I was channeling that feeling when writing this!

Unrelated - I don't ask this often - but I would love some feedback on my latest fiction story. If you got the time, why not check it out? It's short!

Thank you for taking time out of your day to read my work! (:
