Destruction of Nature

A Dark Truth of the Destruction of Nature

By Sheila GuerreroPublished 7 years ago 1 min read

The king, well respected by the others

The peacock: How he loved his friend

Mother nature: wrapped herself around her brother

Roots then started to expand as a way to defend

For the King and his companion.

Years went by, prosperity lived in nature, awaiting

For the birth of new incomers; harmony they must

live in with one another

The first arose, how he was different in awakening

The race was not as expected, the new one they trust

The others stared in curiosity, yet he was loved

The man was supposed to care for the motherhood

nature, yet he failed

Eagerness for wealth he was in no-good

So much land he was going to use to build an empire

The careless act grew the extinction higher

There was conflict as newborns followed his ways

King, not being able to move, could only gaze

What was once a forest is now all plain land

New species invented new things for others

command

New ways changed drastically as for the pollution

In pain, they couldn’t watch the unwanted evolution

The man went back to where he was created only to

find out the trail of mess

Land was not as before; everything became less

Oh, the agony was too much for the King

Others worried of what might become of him

Feeling sorrow, the man sat down in the warm

spring

He vowed to teach the new ones the right decision

No one must follow his collision
