death go away

endless pursuit

of a soul

utterance

requests

a bit heartfelt

mostly prompted by fear

he does not want to lose control

so he recites to GOD to hear

not at all thinking these are vain repetition

he perceives they have power he must repel

so voices in his head he tells

in his shortsighted way

to leave... to vacate the premises

well who am I to really say

his prayers are truly blemished

yet these spirits are continually in the way

it is a mechanism to me disingenious

but his everyday reality

these visions remain plenteous

oh how hideous

death go away
