crazy as hell

one day he may get help

crazy as hell

he is a world away

his brain waves are wired different

his rants

incessant conver

sations

harken to the past

he is firmly placed there

albeit not totally unaware

he has suffered for decades now

in recent times

loved ones have died in his arms

yet for him there has been no consolation

so he is sidetracked in an altered state

his reality

for many hours during the day

praying for people of the past to leave him alone

agitated calling them by name

but for years we have seen red flags

and have heard alarms

I have lobbied for change

but this remains the same

adjust the meds

he has been combative

cursed me out

I don't feel safe

he has charged me and others

I pray for him not to be crazy as hell
