Dead leaves are falling all around me

But the air is still alive

Alive with tricks and treats

And Halloween sights

Pumpkin spice

And beautifully colored trees.

The time that ghouls come out

And roam the earth

And witches ride their brooms

Jack-O-Lanterns light the night

With smiles and faces of gloom.

When the Werewolves howl

At the full moons light

Forced by nature

To be a fright.

The time of dead leaves

Is no time of sorrow

For the leaves from the trees

Will come back tomorrow.

This is a time to celebrate all,

All the monsters and freaks

Who answer it's call.
