Opening the mailbox, hoping undiscovered treasures lay inside.
Colors fill the television screen and sound floods the air, the story taking me to another place.
Barking and licking, my dog making me pay attention to him, grabbing a toy so we can play.
The scent of paper with each turn of the page, the book revealing what happens next.
