Cosmic Connection Introduction

This poem is about the initial meeting between a human and an extraterrestrial where each first introduces the other to themselves via spiritual connection without words.

From the realm where stars align,

A being unique and rare,

Descended upon my front lawn

An extraterrestrial, with a curious stare.

Eyes sparkling like faraway galaxies

Skin shimmering a bright blue/green,

The most frightening and fascinating creature

My two eyes had ever seen

Glowing with a golden hue

He cautiously moved my way

Two worlds about to collide

I was not sure what to say

A hand extended in my direction

I took the hand in mine

No words were necessary

Everything was going to be just fine

Introduced in spirit to one another

Was the first order of the night

A bond of trust was forged

Now our friendship could take flight
